We’ll it’s time for me to go. I leave Friday morning and can’t believe how fast these past couple of months have gone.
I’m going to miss a lot of things while I’m out, the holidays, shared laughs with family and friends, but most of all, I’m going to be missing out on watching my daughter, Evya, grow up.
Yes, it is only a six month deployment, but I’m missing so much. Evya’s third birthday and me and Nary’s one year wedding aniversary.
I really feel bad. I feel that I should have done more with the family. I feel like I took them for granted. I don’t know. Its like the feeling you forgot something when you go on vacation but you don’t remember what it is.
